Supergirl season 3: Esme Bianco of Game of Thrones to appear
In a new post on Twitter, Game of Thrones alum Esme Bianco confirmed that she has a role coming up … and that’s more or less all of the information that there is.
The CW has not formally announced anything on this casting or this character, but it is interesting given that the series should be closing in on the end of season 3 filming before too long. That likely means in turn that Bianco could be playing someone important to the endgame … though CarterMatt does think that it would also be super-interesting if she ends up playing someone who becomes a big part of season 4 and this is just her introduction to the show. That would be something that is a little bit different from what we’ve seen from Supergirl to date, and really in some ways it’s different from most of the Arrow-verse as a whole. While many of these shows will often reference characters who will appear in future seasons (see, for example, DeVoe on The Flash last year), it’s not all that common for them to actually appear in the flesh.

There is no guarantee that Bianco is going to be playing a villain, but no matter her role, there is a lot of story for Supergirl as a whole to try and resolve.
