Doctor Who’s Jenna Coleman meets Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke in Me Before You
Former Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman and Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke are among the stars that feature in the new trailer for the film adaptation of Jojo Moyes bestseller Me Before You.
The film sees Sam Claflin play Will, a man who survives an horrific motorbike accident leaving him paralysed. The story develops as Emilia’s character Louisa forms a strong emotional bond when she is assigned to care for him as his condition worsens.
Jenna, who is best known for her role as Clara Oswald in Doctor Who – plays Louisa’s younger sister Katrina who helps her throughout her experience with Will. It’s certainly a stark contrast to her usual no-holds-barred, adrenaline fuelled Clara fans are accustomed to seeing.
Me Before You also has a whole host of other names you’ll recognise in it, from Charles Dance, Matthew Lewis (yes – that is Neville Longbottom) to Downton Abbey’s Brendan Coyle – it looks set to be a hit when it is released in UK cinemas on June the 3rd.
