Ice Cold Cocos (1926)
Billy and Andy impersonate two ice-delivery men in a suburban town. Billy takes a fancy to a newly-wed bride and most of his loose cash is liquidated as he flirts with her. Her husband is not pleased at Billy’s attentions to his new bride. There is a skating contest at the local ice-rink, and the bride, her mother and her husband are in attendance, as are Billy and Andy, the icemen.

This [movie](https://www.fandor.com/films/ice_cold_cocos#) is an interesting time capsule of how people lived before refridgeration. It shows Bevan and his partner driving around in an ice truck. When they see a house with a sign in the window, they know that person needs new ice for their ice box.
The movie is also interesting because it uses a location that Laurel and Hardy would make famous in [The Music Box](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E788wcKDTFM) six years later, a long outdoor staircase. Bevan does a gag that’s a precursor to Laurel and Hardy’s famous piano on the staircase gag, using an icebox.
