NerdyParker00: I know this movie will atleast be good. That’s like half of all the MCU movies. So what’s stopping this one?

DinahHamza07: Makes sense since people know this will be a good movie and Justice League will be a wildcard.

diddykongisapokemon: Doesn’t matter, Wonder Woman was voted the most anticipated movie of the summer and then…ended up being the number one movie of the summer. Huh

impeccably-stressed: I know people say don’t trust trailers…but for the love of *Thor*, the trailers for Ragnarok are **stunning**, like works of art on their own.

And I’m not sure how much affect the two shorts of Thor living with Darryl had, but they aure as hell convinced me to watch Ragnarok when the first one dropped. If it was even galf as entertaining I figured I’d be in for an entertaining movie. (And then I saw *What We Do In the Shadows* and now I’m *convinced*, that this movie will be spectacular!!)

GoldPisseR: How tf Bladerunner has more hype than IT and Kingsmen?

I am pretty sure it’ll gross lesser than both of them.

WhoElseButKanye: Still believe in my $130m OW prediction. Those saying $95-100 are crazy.

NotMeanttoKnow: God I hope so, or this Disney stock is going to have cost me a fortune.

Plague-Lord: feels like they saw the success of GoTG and decided to make Asgardians of the Galaxy. The only question is how long will this ‘retro soundtrack comic book movie’ formula last until it’s played out?

cooleryouthan: Does this make anyone else extremely worried about JL? I am so worried about this film! I keep having dreams about it. Gawwwww. 450M+ can’t happen without buzz and unfortunately, Thor Ragnarok is winning with all the buzz. Is there any excitement surrounding JL?

I am so worried.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Character Posters

danaeuep: So I guess the movie takes place during the Hindu festival Holi.

ccbuddyrider: Love these posters but maybe it’s just me, no matter what Jeff Goldblum is in he always just looks like Jeff Goldblum in a costume.

avenged7x85: ‘Thor: Color Run’ character posters

Tonkarz: So Sif isn’t in this one? That sucks.

Exodus111: God dammit, Cate Blanchett is looking FAN. TASTIC. as Hela.

I can’t wait for this.

romulan23: Loki would’ve beeen sprinckled with the green dust but Hulk’s in the movie too so…

But those are gorgeous…

fartbartshart: My man Idris Elba rocking those dreads.

ExleyPearce: Do we reckon Hemidall will finally get his time to shine?

jumpbreak5: These are great, but I feel like the “color splash action pose” thing doesn’t work as well for Odin and Jeff Goldblum while they stand there scheming

Wombat_H: Wow Marvel stepped their poster game up. These are cool as hell.

ReasonablyBadass: Very nice.

Thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy colours are now permissible in blockbusters it seems.

Zulanjo: Every time i see promotional material of this movie with Hulk he looks like an orc from WoW, something about him having armor and weapons gives off that vibe.

HippocratesKnees: The first 4 are pretty nice and work well thanks to the ‘action poses’. But the proceeding 4 are just people standing around.

actuallyobsessed: The Thor movies do nothing for me and I can’t put my finger on why.

Ben_Douglass: Ru Thor’s Drag Race.

Dirtyswashbuckler69: The concept is cool, but there seems to be a clash between the actual characters and the powdery stuff. Editing in some of that powder onto the characters bodies would have made these poster better.

CreativeFartist: Thor: Burning Man 2017

RareHunter_: sponsored by **GATORADE**

Thor: Ragnarok, *is it in you?*

Drawdeep: Dammit, no Skurge the Executioner?

K_M_A_2k: Why does Loki look like Willem Dafoe?

Elzar3000: The 7th poster seems like a spoiler… isn’t it?

ZacPensol: One annoying thing about being a graphic designer is I notice when ‘random’ textures (like colored powder, clouds, or treelines) are repeated, so I look at something like the Hulk poster and see [THIS](

*Edit: To be clear, I’m not criticizing the designer. They probably had pretty limited images to work with and most people aren’t going to notice. It’s just a funny little thing is all.*

Cellular-Suicide: Me likey

-Lumos: Is there a noticable difference between 3D and “Real 3D”???

incomprehensiblegarb: Why are they so shit?

_CASE_: [MFW I don’t get my own character poster](

NightFire19: Loki: I HAVE CHOPSTICKS!!!

thenotlowone: Wow this looks so exciting, yet another one out of the ballpark marvel…

KiloGex: I’m pretty sure Loki has the Catspaw Dagger. Just sayin.

sinburger: Wow these look lazy as fuck.

Wyatt821: Looks like a Gatorade ad

Slomojoe: Is it just me or is this a lazy way of “adding color” and not making films look drab and lifeless. Like, the costumes look pretty much the same. Muted, matte, some black in there. But they literally just threw color at the characters and went “see?”

MariachiMacabre: I love how colorful this movie is. The entire aesthetic is the best since the first Guardians movie.

xmu806: I don’t know why but it looks really weird to me having the sword in front of his left arm in that photo…

nammertl: So, was it a conscious effort to make TR really colorful? Like did someone watch the first 2 and thought it needed a big injection of color? I ask because it’s damn ingenious. This is what should have happened with the first X men movie and all subsequent releases. Wolverine just isn’t wolverine without his Yellows and Blues.

deaconsune: THOR: Color Run

malachilenomade: Had to watch the trailer again… I’d forgotten Jeff Goldblum was going to be in it.

my__name__is: I loved the trailers so far for the movie, but I am not really into these posters. The characters and the paint are somehow too separate from each other, looks really fake and over the top.

carolinemathildes: These are gorgeous. So bright. I can’t wait to see this movie. I wasn’t a fan of The Dark World, but I put the first Thor up there along with the Winter Soldier. I’m so excited to see how Taika takes on this universe.

mitchTux: The Hulk with the romanesque armor looks like a super mutant from Fallout

BaymaxandTianaFan: I really love these and I want all of them despite having no room for them in my house

Panda_sandwich: The beards in this movie looks awesome

selkiesidhe: Man I hate Thor with short hair. And for the first time I’m excited about a female character! Hela looks killer 😍

Hi_Im_zack: I hope they give Idris Elba something to do in this, or else I’m gonna be more mad at not casting him as a green lantern

arod48: Looks like a Slow Mo guys video.

ReZ-115: Hot take: Idris Elba looks better with dreads and hair.

GoodSteer: amazing how they turned the thor brand around. literally couldn’t pay me to see either of the first two, but the spirit and colors of the trailer and these posters is so awesome. i’m hyped.

odusanyaka: im so glad idris got one. Hopefully mr. watiti gives him a bigger role in this movie than just being a door man.

snowden_le_hero: I kind of wish the posters for each character were unique instead of the exact same effect with a hue shift.

AstroAgama: Anyone else think the graphic itself looks pretty amateurish? I think only the Thkr one works. The rest looks like they took the photos and then decided what effect to go for.

APrioriRavioli: Much cooler than I was expecting.

smilinreap: I got a hunger games vibe from the last several people (especially #8). Also this is probably the easiest effect to do, so it seems they are finally making use of interns.

kejack93: Hopkins looks like he’s utterly disappointed thinking not again.

Victor_Vicarious: I didn’t think Odin was in any of the trailers but here he is…spoiler?

duhhdoy: I wonder if this movie will have a neon color palette

mccurds: I really like the colors and most of the poses. But having Anthony and Jeff have the same pose and one after the other really dampens their posters.

InDaTwash: why does hawkeye get to be red?

cats_lie: new power rangers?

wishiwascooltoo: I don’t get it, are they participating in a color run?

mlvisby: Loki’s face looks odd. He has his lips curling over his teeth, so it looks like he has no teeth.

Sayuu89: Why did they allow a hair cut for Thor?

redberyl: I thought Anthony Hopkins’ character died?

NDN_Shadow: Hoping the Heimdall = Soul Stone theory gets some love in this movie.

_Dilligent: They didnt even really throw the powder on them…

pjtheman: Ok team, people have been complaining that most of our movies have no color scheme and poor grading. Any ideas?

What’s that? Vomit rainbows onto the screen to make every movie look like GotG? Great idea! That’s definitely what color grading means!

OviraptorGaming: Heimdal’s poster is Orange. I wonder what else that we haven’t seen is orange?

Hint: it’s the Soul Stone.

MarcusRJones: Wish I still had that theater job to get some of these

kungfuesday: I guess Loki has the Elder Wand now?

Tom Hiddleston promises lots of laughs in Thor: Ragnarok

Tom Hiddleston has promised fans that there will be plenty of humour in Thor: Ragnarok.

The British actor is reprising his role as Loki in the upcoming superhero film, the latest instalment in the franchise based around the Marvel Comics character Thor, as portrayed by Chris Hemsworth.

New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi is taking the helm of the flick, and Tom has praised the director for injecting a new sense of fun into the series, which takes place four years after the events of Thor: The Dark World and follows Thor as he is held captive on the planet Sakaar without his hammer Mjolnir.

“Taika’s been so respectful of the mythology,” he told Empire magazine. “But he’s injected so much humour into it. He’s given every character laugh-out-loud moments without betraying their integrity.”

Taika joined the franchise after director Alan Taylor chose not to return after The Dark World.

His background has been in making independent films such as Boy, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What We Do in the Shadows, but he was more than willing to tackle a Hollywood blockbuster.
